Alison Kay was appointed as the VP & Managing Director, AWS UK and Ireland in November 2024. Since joining, Alison has brought her wealth of business transformation and strategy experience, partnering with organisations of all sizes – from start-ups, through to the UK and Ireland’s largest enterprises – to accelerate their customer-centric digital business transformation and help them realise new forms of customer value, leveraging AWS cloud.
 
Alison joined AWS from EY where she held a number of roles including EMEIA Managing Partner and Global Vice Chair of Industry. Alison started her career in the Utilities industry as a graduate at United Utilities and has an MBA from Manchester Business School. She is also a Non-Executive Director at Lloyd’s Register Group Limited and Executive Chairman for Birmingham Panthers Netball.

Alison is married to Andy, with two children Natasha (17) and Oliver (12) and lives in London.
