Alex Pell
Alex is the tech editor of The London Standard (formerly The Evening Standard), London's most iconic news brand. Prior to this, he was assistant editor of The Sunday Times and has also edited Stuff, the world's best-known gadget title.
He is surely the only journalist to have interviewed Steven Bartlett about football skills and Harry Kane on his business acumen.
As a self-styled Chief Curiosity Officer, Alex is eternally inquisitive and enjoys shaping complex ideas into compelling stories for mainstream audiences. He's led countless workshops on digital skills, innovation or launch strategy ' collaborating with organisations as diverse as Cancer Research UK and the European Parliament.
Alex won a Webby Award for urban innovation and even 'launched' a spaceship. But that's another story.
