CTO, GSK

As a Global CTO and Head of Global Product & Technology organization, Agam provides strategic direction for Digital & Technology landscape for GSK. He is responsible for all the Enterprise technologies and Platforms, including Data/Analytics, ML, AI, GenAI Cloud, Digital Workplace Services, Enterprise Architecture, Master Data Management, Software Engineering, Global ERP, and all the GSK Corporate Applications & Platforms.

Agam is responsible for driving large scale Digital & Technology Transformation for GSK. His key accomplishments are – Building AI/GenAI enabled best in class Data Platform, created and executed comprehensive Cloud strategy to drive business growth, implementation of Automation using RPA, Service Management and now GenAI, consistent excellent user experience, API enabled integration and implemented SSE solution for zero trust, boosting cyber security. Driving superior Operational Excellence and cost optimization. Focus on integration, Merger & Acquisition, and led Consumer Healthcare separation initiative. Currently working on GenAI based transformation and S4 HANA implementation plan.

Agam joined GSK from Eli Lilly & Company where he held the position of Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. In that role, Agam was responsible for providing strategic direction for the technology landscape and investment across IT Infrastructure and Operations, Digital Workplace Services, Enterprise Applications including global SAP environment, Data, Analytics and Information Services, Enterprise IT Architecture, and IT for Global Services functions as well as oversight of external vendor relationships. Agam was responsible for driving Digital transformation along with implementing Enterprise Data and Analytics platforms and a hybrid Cloud strategy & implementation.

Prior to joining Eli Lilly, Agam spent 6 years at Johnson & Johnson, holding a series of senior executive roles in Tech across supporting Infrastructure, Platforms, Supply Chain, R&D and Commercial functions. In his final role with J&J as Vice President and Global Head of Business Applications Platforms, Agam led strategy, architecture, design, implementation and support for all the Enterprise Business Applications Platforms functions for all J&J sectors globally. Agam was responsible for conceptualizing and building the cloud strategy for the company. In addition, he and his team rationalized and brought together the company's manufacturing platforms. He also led the building of an enterprise data lake for J&J, which provided the company with one single view of data.

Before moving into healthcare, Agam worked in the financial services sector at Bank of New York Mellon and Ernst & Young for 11 years, in different technology leadership roles managing large and complex programs globally.

Agam serves as a Board of Directors for Data Dynamics company and also part of multiple leadership councils and advisory boards of large companies including products and service providers
