Alston Zecha is a Partner at Eight Roads Ventures, a global venture capital firm managing $11bn of assets across offices in the UK, China, India, Japan, and the US. Alston joined Eight Roads in 2015 and focuses on investing in scale-ups across Europe and Israel, with a specific interest in cybersecurity, fintech and SaaS companies. Alston has twice been a co-founder of startups, including of mobile payments provider Payleven (now SumUp). Earlier in his career, Alston has worked at Apax Partners, Travelex, Bain & Company and Citigroup, based out of Berlin, Johannesburg, London, Paris and San Francisco.
Alston’s investments include Canoe Intelligence, Duco, Funnel, Juro, Kaiko, Mention Me, SenseOn and Tibber.
