
Mathieu Flamini
Mathieu Flamini is the co-founder of GFBiochemicals, a leading sustainable biochemical company with the mission to end chemical pollution by developing safer and more sustainable alternatives to the harmful petrochemicals commonly found in everyday products. Following a Series A funding round in May 2022, Mathieu became CEO of the company.
After founding GFBiochemicals in 2010, he was part of the team behind BIOCIRCE, Europe’s first Masters’ degree dedicated to the bioeconomy. He subsequently became a WEF Young Global Leader in 2018, joined the Atomico Angel Program in 2021 and was a member of the Paris 2024 Olympic Environmental Excellence Committee. He is a former professional football player for Arsenal FC, AC Milan and the French national team.
