UK-India Tech Forum | London Tech Week

Organised by techUK

Join us during London Tech Week our biannual UK-India Tech Forum. 2024 is a huge year for the UK-India bilateral, with elections taking place in both countries and an FTA being negotiated, there is plenty to be discussed.

This Forum will focus on four core areas.

First of all, the Forum will discuss the elections in both countries and how both parties assess the opportunities and challenges in the UK-India bilateral.

Secondly, we will be discussing the potential FTA between the UK and India. With the next round of negotiations due to start in June, the Forum will cover what businesses would want to see from a FTA and what the negotiating challenges we will need to overcome to get there.

Thirdly, the Forum will seek to cover the more practical 'nuts and bolts' of exporting or expanding into the India market for UK tech companies, and vice-versa.

And finally, the Forum will also look into some of the key areas of emerging technology that the UK and India can work together on, including emerging technologies such as semiconductors, space tech, quantum and more. This event will be followed by a Parliamentary Roundtable held in the House of Lords in late June (date TBC).

We look forward to seeing you there.
