You are invited to an update and discussion on Privacy & AI Regulation: A Transatlantic Perspective. This event, as part of London Tech Week, is jointly hosted by Penningtons Manches Cooper (UK/EU) and Polsinelli (USA).

We will discuss:
 •the fast-developing US privacy and AI landscape – the number of US state privacy laws is on the increase, many with extra-territorial effect. We will cover the key points for international businesses, and provide an update on the executive order from US President Joe Biden on Artificial Intelligence.•UK and EU approach to AI regulation – we will discuss the proposed UK Artificial Intelligence bill and the EU AI Act, and look at data protection guidance issued by regulators in this space.
Our speakers include:
 •Joanne Vengadesan – Partner, Penningtons Manches Cooper - Joanne is technology lawyer, with expertise in intellectual property and technology transactions, and data protection. Much of her work has an international element, and her work includes advising on use of artificial intelligence tools and data licensing.
