1400-1500 Keynote: Harnessing AI for competitive growth - Katie King, award-winning AI strategist and bestselling author 

How can businesses ensure they harness AI ethically for competitive growth? What practical steps can businesses take to equip their workforce in the AI era? How do cultural differences impact the adoption of AI and what should businesses consider when expanding their AI initiatives globally?

Speaker: Katie King: Katie is CEO of AI in Business, a future focused consultancy dedicated to helping businesses maintain a competitive edge in the age of AI. Katie is a member of the UK Government All-Party Parliamentary Group task force on AI adoption and an Editorial Board Member for the AI and Ethics Journal. Voted the leading AI strategist and ‘Top 10 influencer in AI’ in 2024, Katie is a renowned author and advisor to many of the world's leading brands and business leaders.

1515-1630 How can technology bridge generational divides to unlock opportunity and innovation? 

In a single workplace, there could be up to five generations, each of which brings different experiences, ideas and norms. While all valuable in their own right, intergenerational conflict often stems from differing experiences. In this session we'll take a look at how technology, including AI, is being used effectively to relieve tensions, maximise opportunities and improve workplace collaboration and culture. 

Speaker: Piers Wingfield: Piers is a Founding Consultant (AI Product Strategy) at The Transformer Company, a leading consultancy partnering with brands, agencies and marketing teams to get business results from AI and emerging technologies. Prior to his current role, Piers held consultancy and policy roles at Meta.

An exclusive discussion and networking event for women in the tech industry. This event will be the first in a series where we will share and celebrate the stories of inspiring women in the sector. We’ll be discussing how tech and the use of tech has changed over the last 10-15 years, what the future looks like in terms of tech use in the media & entertainment and retail & consumer industries, whilst also discussing the challenges and opportunities for women in the tech industry, hearing from two incredible leaders.

Speakers:

Dawn Airey CBE: Dawn is the current Chair of the newly formed Women’s Professional Leagues (now known as Women’s Super League Football), the owner and operator of the Barclays Women’s Super League and Barclays Women’s Championship. A veteran of the industry having worked in television, media and technology for 30 years, Dawn has held senior positions at ITV (MD of Global Content), Channel 5 (CEO and Chair), Sky (MD of Channels and Services), Yahoo! (SVP, EMEA), Getty Images (CEO), and is the Interim Chair of Channel 4, and the Chair of the National Youth Theatre.

Maria Raga Frances: Maria is a venture partner and angel investor who was previously the Chief Executive of Depop – the well-known online fashion marketplace. Maria began her career at Bain & Company before joining Groupon UK, and subsequently Depop. Maria led Depop through a remarkable phase of growth and culminating in its successful acquisition by Etsy in 2021. Maria now serves on the board of Women’s Professional Leagues and Collagerie, and is an active angel investor in startups including Trip, LOCI, OMADA, Clipdrop (acquired by Stability AI) and Transak
