TLA eco Virtual Community Session: Responsible Growth
Join TLA eco, part of Tech London Advocates and Global Tech Advocates, for a London Tech Week Fringe virtual community session.
Hosted by Linda Achan, TLA eco Group Lead, and Russ Shaw, Founder of Tech London Advocates and Global Tech Advocates, this session will bring together members, new connections and international tech hub representatives to connect, share reflections from London Tech Week and discuss the role of technology, AI and data in responsible growth and resource efficiency.
The session will explore broad themes including:
- Sustainability across products, manufacturing, services and operations
- Technology, AI and data for resource efficiency
- Cross-sector collaboration between founders, corporates, investors and ecosystem partners
This will be a light-touch, peer-to-peer session. A practical space to meet others, exchange perspectives and reconnect with the TLA eco community.
About the hosts
Linda Achan is the co-founder of NatureWrap and Ayana Jade, working across foodtech, responsible materials and innovation-led design. Her work focuses on natural resource optimisation and commercial value through product and process design, connecting post-harvest preservation in food systems with mine-to-market provenance in responsible materials. Her role at TLA forms part of her wider CSR and ecosystem contribution
Russ Shaw is the Founder of Tech London Advocates and Global Tech Advocates, a non-profit network convening tech leaders and connecting technology communities across the UK and internationally
Guest speakerJan Lozek, General Partner & CEO of Future Energy Ventures
Jan is General Partner & CEO of Future Energy Ventures, an early-stage investment platform focused on energy technologies. He previously held senior investment and leadership roles at RWE and brings more than 30 years of experience across venture capital, private equity and M&A.
He will join the conversation to share perspectives from his investment focus, including AI-enabled energy systems, industrial decarbonisation, distributed infrastructure, and the electrification of transport, industry and buildings.
