Introducing Sports Tech Advocates (STA)

A new global network championing innovation in sports technology

Sports Tech Advocates (STA) is the latest vertical launching within the Global Tech Advocates and London Tech Advocates networks—two of the world’s most dynamic grassroots tech communities.

As the worlds of sport, health, media, and technology converge, there is a critical need for a focused, collaborative platform to unite startups, investors, sports bodies, technologists, and researchers working at the cutting edge of sports innovation.

Why Now?

  • The global sports technology market is forecast to surpass $40 billion by 2030, driven by advancements in data analytics, wearables, immersive media, fan engagement, and athlete performance.

  • From grassroots to elite levels, sports organisations are embracing tech to solve major challenges—from injury prevention to audience engagement.

  • Despite this rapid growth, there is no dedicated global community under the GTA/TLA umbrella exclusively focused on sports tech—until now.
