The MDIA is the key regulating body in the innovative technology sector. Founded in 2018, its principal objective remains to encourage the growth and implementation of Malta’s innovative technology sector through effective recognition and regulation of innovative technology arrangements (ITAs). As an autonomous body with its own legal identity, the Authority promotes the safer use of innovative technology and hence its greater adoption, while also boosting the possibilities for investment in innovative technology.
