Kioko has developed a brand new, web-based Computer Aided Design (CAD) platform for engineers. Nowadays, designing cars, planes and other high manufacturing objects require a complex, highly collaborative design process from engineers all over the world. The current CAD tools have struggled to adapt because of the traditional point & click interface, a large, complex CAD Kernel and reliance on powerful workstations. The team at Kioko, born out of the F1 industry, with 20 years experience in aerospace and motorsport design, has realised a CAD process inspired by the software industry would alleviate many of the current CAD limitations to answer the needs of tomorrow’s engineer. The result is the Kioko online platform, the equivalent of Github and Visual Studio Code for 3D designs.
