Founded as a digital community by computer scientist Dr. Anita Borg in 1987, AnitaB.org provides women and nonbinary technologists at all stages of their careers with year-round opportunities to connect with and inspire one another, develop their professional skills, find mentors, and gain recognition. Our initiatives—from Grace Hopper Celebration, an annual conference of 30,000 attendees, to our over 40 local community groups worldwide—focus on amplifying the voices and impact of women in technology. We provide scholarships, mentoring, and platforms for women to connect, learn, and grow. AnitaB.org enables participants to develop their skills, find mentors, gain recognition, and partake in a wealth of transformative experiences that advance their careers and enhance their influence within the tech industry.
