Talent & Skills

Stride - Empowering Inclusive Leadership

Organised by: Stride, Eric Festival

With a significant ethnicity/gender talent gap in the tech sector, how can tech business leaders ensure they are hiring from a diverse talent pool? What does Diversity & Inclusion mean to young people in tech?

In this lively session, Stride will partner with four young people from South London who will turn the mentor/mentee relationship on its head. They will act as young mentors to advise tech business leaders on practical ways to engage young diverse talent. What do young people hate to hear about Diversity & Inclusion? Expect an open and honest discussion between young tech talent and employers, exploring what Diversity & Inclusion means to them.

Backed by the London Boroughs of Lambeth, Lewisham, Southwark and Wandsworth Stride makes space for creativity to thrive in South London. We create opportunity, develop talent and support creative and tech enterprises.
