As the Chief Operating Officer for London First, Mel has been responsible for shaping and advancing their Support Service model by providing strategic input into the London First business strategy and leading the assessment of key functions such as CRM, Finance and HR, whilst ensuring the successful delivery of a highly effective business operating model. Mel is an experienced People Director with effective project management skills and a proven track record in delivering best practice solutions in culture, leadership, and strategy.
Her previous strategic Organisational Design experience is broad having worked for regulated business (banks & private equity), technology businesses (both large corporations & start ups), moneySupermarket (ftse 250) and campaigning membership organisations.
Mel is experienced in taking a business plan/strategy and implementing it across a business, looking at team structures, how they are delivered, aligning objectives and implementation across teams. Working with executive teams and boards to develop an effective communication and reporting model, she displays transparency whilst getting the right reporting/governance in place.
