Ukraine’s Innovation Blueprint for a Resilient Future

Monday 8 June 2026
Deep Tech Stage
Industrial Sovereignty

Ukraine has built a powerful innovation ecosystem under the pressure of war — fast, adaptive, mission-driven, and deeply connected to real-world needs. The next challenge is to ensure that this technological potential is not lost as the country moves from survival to recovery, but becomes a foundation for long-term transformation.

While much of the world discusses dual-use technologies as the adaptation of civilian innovation for defense, Ukraine now faces the reverse task: translating defense-born technologies into peaceful applications.

This session will explore how Ukraine can preserve, scale and responsibly adapt the technological breakthroughs developed in wartime and what this experience reveals about the role of innovation in addressing the challenges facing societies globally. From rebuilding critical infrastructure and strengthening public safety to improving crisis response and democratic security, Ukraine offers a practical case study of how technology can move from urgent necessity to long-term public value.
