Steering the Future of the Space Economy
Space is now critical national infrastructure, underpinning connectivity, navigation and timing, climate and environmental monitoring, and national security. This fireside will explore how the UK is translating the National Space Strategy and Space Industrial Plan into delivery: strengthening priority sovereign capabilities including satellite communications, Earth observation, launch and space domain awareness, building a more competitive UK space economy, and ensuring the UK remains a leader in safe, sustainable and well-regulated space activity. It will also examine how the government is improving the “golden thread” from strategy to policy to execution to accelerate delivery and unlock private investment.
